NICHE was founded by Bobby Webster and is a footwear / apparel boutique located in historic Southend Charlotte. Formerly an art gallery, NICHE has been remodeled with a minimal industrial theme. The store mixes stainless steel tables, galvanized steel fixtures and giant butcher blocks as part of their decor. The centerpiece of the store is a 8' x 8' backlit acrylic shelving wall that displays many of the exclusive lines of footwear that NICHE offers. If you're looking for brands such as VANS, Alife, Kidrobot, Paul Frank, or Adidas, NICHE has you covered. With the growing success of the store and the addition of online sales, NICHE has expanded and opened up a second store in the Charlotte area.
I originally used Sixth Sense POS for about the first 2 years of operation. I hated it and hated their customer service with a passion.
As I earlier mentioned, I was very dissatisfied with my POS software. I had outgrown it and it didn't even have the ability to print barcodes or multiple labels. I read about POS•IM from the Apple business site. After downloading the demo, I really liked it and after talking to their sales guy Brandon, that sealed the deal! The customer service with POS•IM is excellent. After dealing with other software companies that can't wait to rush you off the phone, it's very refreshing to not have that feeling when dealing with POS•IM staff.
Better and more detailed reports, easier to check in inventory, ability to print labels/barcodes.
Being that we do mainly apparel and footwear, the new inventory style card is very convenient. After having another system prior to POS•IM that was painful to check in inventory, the Inventory Client program is definitely my favorite. The Sales Client program is also very easy to use and to train employees how to use.
